On the 9th and 10th of September 2017, Pakuranga Rugby Club hosted the first even Auckland Junior Rugby Festival! The idea came about earlier in the year and was quickly put into place that the club would organise and host a 'Taupo like' tournament as warm up for those teams heading to Taupo or any other teams wanting to end their year with a fun tournament! The weekend went off with little problems at most and all games were played in high spirits!
