DIRECTOR OF NETBALL ROLE
Pakuranga United Netball Club is seeking a Director of Netball to lead the participation and performance of our Netball program. The Director of Netball will work closely with the General Manager and the wider netball committee and be responsible for facilitating participation and management of the netball club.

We are looking for someone with the following skills and experience:

Previous experience within a sports coaching, management or administration environment would be an advantage (particularly Netball)

• Commercial acumen
• Strategic thinking
• Strong planning and organisation
• Excellent communication skills
• Able to build trust, consensus and maintain strong relationships

This is a part time role with flexible hours.

The high-level view of responsibilities

• Execute the strategic development of the Club
• Organise and lead the netball committee
• Forecast, organise and drive recruitment
• Organise musters, trials and team formation
• Organise coaches and umpires for teams
• Lead sponsorship and fundraising efforts

THURSDAY TOUCH
Reminder that there will be no Thursday night touch this coming 5th of December. This is due to the Secondary School Nationals.

Rubbish: It's disappointing that this needs to be address, but the amount of rubbish and water bottles being left on the fields is unacceptable. Every week bottles are left laying all around the grounds.

All of this is just from one Thursday night. There are plenty of bins around. If you can bring it to the field, you can take it from the field.

20th December 2024 @ Howick Pakuranga Community Sports Centre, 78 Bells Rd, Lloyd Elsmore Park.

The band will start at 1900hrs, but feel free to arrive earlier for the Ode at 1800hrs.
